SBD Bridal and Formal Wear Special Order Policies and Procedures

In order to ensure a smooth ordering process for your special day, please review the following SBD Bridal and Formal Wear Special Order Policies and Procedures:

 
MERCHANDISE ORDER PROCESS:
After client chooses style and color, HOC takes measurements to determine size. Sizing is based on client measurements and may vary depending on manufacturer. Exchanges based on size changes will be allowed in accordance with the Exchange Policy provided below. If measurements are taken by someone other than HOC – HOC will not be responsible for errors in size and Exchange Policy will be followed.

 
PAYMENT:
SBD requires a fifty (50%) deposit when an order is placed. The full balance is due when the merchandise is delivered – NO MERCHANDISE CAN BE PICKED-UP WITHOUT BALANCE PAID. Merchandise must be picked up and balance paid upon delivery. Unless other arrangements are made and approved by SBD, if the order is not picked up within fifteen (15) days the merchandise will be returned to stock and the deposit may be forfeited.

 
ORDER CHANGES:
Orders may be changed within three (3) days of being placed. If the Client changes their mind later than three (3) days after an order is placed, the deposit may be forfeited.
NOTE: For dress that are Custom Maid – Most Designers will not allow orders to be changed once it has been placed – please be certain when you place an order that it is what you want!!!!!!!

 
ALTERATIONS:
HOC will perform alterations to garment discrepancies that require such things as – hem adjustments and limited size adjustments at no cost to the Client on a case by case basis.

If an adjustment is due to the Client taking their own measurements or sizing – Alteration cost will be charged to the Client. Alterations may or may not be performed by SBD – this work is at SBD’s discretion if they are able to perform the alterations required.

 
SHIPPING AND RUSH ORDERS:
Additional charges may apply for larger sizes. Orders for bridesmaid dresses must be placed 3 months prior to the wedding or a rush charge may apply.

Regular shipping for items other than bridesmaid dresses is usually 4 – 5 days ground.

Overnight shipping will incur additional charges.

 
REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY:
Client must inspect merchandise once delivered. Exchanges may be made for improper sizing, color or mistakes by HOC in accordance with the policy of the manufacturer. Exchanges will not be made later than 3 days after merchandise is received by the Client.
REFUNDS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON SPECIAL ORDERS!

 
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
HOC Wedding Day Dressing Services or Bridal Measuring Party Services are available – a list of service cost is available. These services also depend upon the availability of SBD personnel.
